No Black Heroes
My memoir "No Black Heroes" is about my 30 year struggle as an African American police officer. And please don't let my skin color fool you. As a black officer, my book details the adverse conditions an officer will face for exposing racism, and corruption. This may come as a surprise, but those in command positions took steps to ensure my harm, and that of my family. The hatred and dishonesty tolerated in our police departments is stifling.
I've posted a few documents, articles, and videos in the Gallery in support of this true and accurate memoir. America can now see what really goes on in our police departments nationally. Through my narrative and experiences, I've exposed the multitude of issues African Americans, and actually all police officers face in law enforcement. The question is, "What has this done to our communities?" Those answers are revealed in this book. Had it not been for my faith! And so, the struggle continues!
